Crush AI for Online Stores: Setup and Budget Checklist

A practical pre-purchase check for store owners: account requirements, the work Crush automates, subscription and ad-spend costs, and when to choose another approach.

Crush is worth considering if your online store already sells a viable offer and you want help making, launching and adjusting Meta ads. Before buying, check the account setup and the full cost of testing. The subscription is only one part of that cost.

First, confirm your store can actually launch

Crush says you need a Facebook Page, a Meta ad account with a payment card, a product link or a WhatsApp number linked to the Page, and a separate ad budget. If any of those pieces is missing, fix the account setup before buying a subscription. A working product page and a clear offer matter too: automated media buying cannot repair weak unit economics or an unclear proposition.

Write down who owns the Page and ad account, who can approve spend, and which product or collection the ads will promote. If you sell through Shopify or another ecommerce platform, ask Crush how your product page and tracking will connect to the ad account before you pay.

Know which work becomes automated

Crush describes a sequence: connect the Meta ad account, tell it about the store, create or adapt ad creatives and copy, launch campaigns in the owner’s ad account, and shift budget toward stronger ads while turning off weaker ones. The advertiser still chooses the offer and budget and should review results. This makes the product more relevant to a lean team that wants execution help than to a specialist who wants to hand-tune every bid and audience.

The free public ad library is a separate research tool. You can browse ads there without treating the paid manager as a free plan. Use it to study creative approaches before deciding whether the paid creation and optimization workflow is necessary for your store.

Calculate the real starting cost

Crush currently advertises introductory options of $19.95 for two weeks, $29.95 for four weeks and $49.95 for eight weeks. After the introductory period, the pricing page says the plan renews at $79.95 per month unless cancelled. These are subscription charges, not your Meta ad spend. Check the live checkout before purchase because an introductory promotion can change.

For a practical budget decision, add the first-period subscription, the Meta spend you are willing to test, and any optional add-on shown at checkout. Then compare that total with your product margin and the number of orders needed to break even. Avoid judging the tool on subscription price alone: a cheap software plan does not make an underfunded or unprofitable campaign viable.

Crush advertises a 14-day money-back guarantee and one-click cancellation. Read the current checkout and refund terms before paying, especially if the introductory period and guarantee period end on different dates. The public pricing page does not advertise a free trial of the paid manager.

Decide whether the workflow fits

  • Likely fit: a small store or lean agency already committed to Meta ads, with a product and budget ready, that wants help producing creatives and managing routine campaign decisions.
  • Check more carefully: a team that needs detailed manual control, client-wide reporting or additional ad-network management. Crush says it manages Meta ads, not Google or TikTok ad campaigns.
  • Wait: a store without a payment-ready ad account, a clear offer or enough margin to fund tests. Fix those fundamentals before evaluating automation.

If your main question is the billing choice, see the existing Crush pricing guide. For the broader product assessment, see the Crush review. This checklist is specifically for the pre-launch decision.
